At Curative and Co. Studio, our mission is to create a space where beauty, creativity, and community come together. We envision a studio where independent artists thrive, clients feel deeply cared for, and every service is rooted in intention, individuality, and connection.

Curative and Co. is a collective of independent beauty artists, each bringing their own passion and expertise under one roof. Here, you get personalized care, high-quality services, and the chance to support local entrepreneurs, all in a modern, welcoming space designed for creativity and self-care.
For the last decade, I carried a vision: a space that felt open yet private, where creativity and community could thrive side by side. I knew if I ever created something, it couldn’t be ordinary. No strip mall. It had to be warm, intentional, and truly unique. But I had no idea where that space would be.
Then I discovered JDs Homestead, and I called every year for eight years, hoping the timing would finally align.
One day, it did. I found myself holding the keys to Site 107, my dream location.
From that moment, everything moved fast. I became a designer, carpenter, Lowe’s Pro Member, and businesswoman in every sense of the word, all while working a full-time job just a mile up the road. I had a vision, and I knew it wasn’t just for me. It was for other professionals who were also waiting for a space like this. I had to move fast with precision, grace, and relentless creativity, learning more than I ever imagined along the way.
Now, a year in, 7 of our 8 chairs are filled. The space is full of life, love, and artistry. Stylists are thriving. Clients feel seen and cared for. And we get to call this beautiful place our salon home.
It was challenging, yes, but that’s where Curative and Co. was born.
